Users of our apps are really creative. They find the BEST ways to break things.

When that happens, I go fire up my copy of the app and reproduce the error.

Wait! What?!

It turns out that it works on my machine!

We've all heard and joked about this particular situation.

In my last full time job, the server actually operated with police and government data.

What this meant was that we couldn't pull the data down to our machines to replicate the issues that way.

Sometimes this is really messy anyway!

So, how do you narrow down what is going on?

I've set up a webinar with my friend John-Daniel Trask from Raygun.io about finding these issues in production and fixing them. He'll be speaking on Thursday!

This is a critical skill in your job!
