This is just the casual, throw-on-and-go piece I've been looking for to accompany the upcoming summer. Its relaxed, boxy fit with dropped shoulders and a V-neckline finds the perfect balance between casual and cool and the color is one of my favorites for this season. Made with no-stretch denim (100% cotton) and featuring raw, unfinished edges, this dress puts a punch on minimalism. Get it below.

The Infatuation was tired of stuffy food festivals, so they made one that doesn’t suck. If you live in Los Angeles, you should be counting down the days to EEEEEATSCON, the festival that brings together great food, great music, and great people. You’ll get to hang in a giant San Monica airplane hanger, eat food from some of the best restaurants in the city (like Salazar, Chi Spacca, and Jon & Vinny's), catch performances by Lizzo and The Knocks, and watch panels of cool food people (like Nancy Silverton and Shep Gordon) in conversation with one another. EEEEEATSCON is kicking off May 20th at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica - get your tickets now before they sell out.

We made up the weekend the same way we made up the week. The earth actually does rotate around the sun once a year, taking about 365.25 days. The sun truly rises and sets over twenty-four hours. But the week is man-made, arbitrary, a substance not found in nature. That seven-day cycle in which we mark our meetings, mind birthdays, and overstuff our iCals—buffered on both ends by those promise-filled 48 hours of freedom—only holds us in place because we invented it.
