Muck Rack Daily
Hello from Muck Rack, where you can get a snapshot of what journalists around the world are reading, thinking and commenting on right now.

In 2018 sending out a press release via a wire service simply doesn’t make sense as a public relations tactic to garner earned media coverage.

That brings us to an even bigger question -- does sending out press releases make sense at all? Well, not really.

And hence, newswire services like PR Newswire and BusinessWire are costing PR professionals millions of dollars each year, with foggy ROI at best.

Press releases don’t really work in the modern era of media relations.

Read this post on the Muck Rack blog for the list of press release alternatives and check out some other popular blog posts from the past few weeks.
